Because honesty is the best policy

When you or your organization is involved in capturing and working with microscopic (imaging) data, chances are you use hardware from more than one vendor. At Pathomation, we believe this data should be easily distributable across a wide variety of applications, be it for visualization, annotation, or automated analysis.

Our software platform started out as a quest by our parent company to find software that could play this role of honest broker middleware for a wide variety of their own image acquisition platforms. The traditional “buy vs build” odyssey eventually lead to the spin-out off a new company: Pathomation. We now offer our own software platform that supports over 30 different file formats for whole slide imaging and other applications.
